Included Services

Security Guard

For your peace of mind, and that of your guests, the presence of a security guard, from the Harrison County Sheriff’s Department, is provided for all Oak Crest Mansion Inn events at no additional fee.

On-Site Parking & Valet Services

Complimentary parking for all attendees is offered in designated areas on the grounds of Oak Crest Mansion Inn, close to the wedding site for events comprising 50 or more guests. To ensure that your guests feel they are stepping into a special and unique event, and for the smooth flow of entering and departing the property, parking services are obligatory for all weddings or receptions over 50 guests. Parties larger than 150 guests will be subject to additional fees. Valet service is mandatory; if your guests do not want to valet their cars, they can park across the street at the elementary school.

Event Pricing

Estate Rental Packages provide the bride and groom four hours of access to the common areas on the first floor of The Mansion — with the exception of the conference room — and designated areas of the outdoor grounds for the wedding, reception, and departure. Personal decorations — including table linens, centerpieces, and other décors — may be set up by you or your designee. Time for setup and decoration will be allocated prior to the wedding.

The use of the Oak Crest Mansion Inn for your event will make your wedding and/or reception a spectacular and memorable event. The fee for this experience is based not only on the number of guests that you expect but also upon the month, day of the week and time of day of the celebration. All quoted prices include a guest count up to 150 individuals. However, at any time selected, Oak Crest Mansion can easily accommodate up to 350 guests.

Out of respect to those who serve our country, all site fees are reduced by 10% if the Bride, Groom, or parents of the Bride or Groom are Active Duty or Retired from any branch of the Military, National Guard, or Reserve.

There is a 30% premium on the total package price for holiday weekends. Applicable holiday weekends include Martin Luther King, Jr., Day; President’s Day; Valentine’s Day; Weekend prior to Mardi Gras; Easter; Mother’s Day; Memorial Day; Fourth of July; Labor Day; Thanksgiving; Christmas; and New Year’s.

Event Schedule and Hours

Whether you envision a beautiful morning ceremony under the live oak trees or a dramatic evening wedding at sunset with candlelight, Oak Crest Mansion gives you maximum flexibility for your special day. A wedding ceremony or bridal event may begin at any time between 10:00 am and 7:00 pm. In consideration of our neighbors, all bridal events and live music at Oak Crest Mansion Inn must end by 10:00 p.m. on weekdays and 11:00 pm on weekends, so we will help you plan the start time of your event to coincide with an appropriate time for the conclusion.

In order to make sure your event is flawless, Oak Crest Mansion Inn will work closely with your coordinator and will request a schedule of events to be provided. If you do not utilize an outside wedding planner or coordinator, your A Plan to Remember Coordinator will work with you to establish the precise event and schedule that you desire.

Changes to a schedule may result in additional site fees being charged. Should your event go over the allotted time, or should you choose to arrive earlier than your scheduled event time, additional site fees will be applied at a rate of $500.00 per hour.

Rooms & Accommodations

Our guest suites may be rented in part or in total for your wedding guests and are priced separately from the wedding package. Renting suites provides ease for the bride to prepare herself for the ceremony or reception and makes out of town guest accommodations simple and stress-free.

Our daily suite rates include breakfasts for two, comprised of either a European continental breakfast comprised of seasonal fruits, fresh pastries, muffins and bread, yogurts, granola, sliced meats, and cheeses or a southern traditional fare. All accommodations are subject to applicable state and local taxes and service charges.

Special arrangements can be made for suite set up of gift baskets, flowers, candy, champagne or other beverages for an additional fee. Oak Crest Mansion Inn is pleased to offer these special touches for our guests and welcomes your unique requests at least 24 hours in advance.

Check–in begins at 4:00 pm and check-out is by 11:00 am. A day-use fee of one-half of the individual suite rate may be applied at Oak Crest Mansion Inn’s discretion for any early check-in, late check-out or use of its facilities.

Accommodations at Oak Crest Mansion Inn are quoted on an individual suite basis for either single or double occupancy. All of our suites are designed for double occupancy. The number of guests scheduled to occupy each suite must be disclosed at the time the reservation is made. For your safety and to comply with regulations, the maximum capacity of each room must be observed.

Additional Bridal Party Packages & Options

Bride and Groom Preparation Suites

Our guest suites may also be rented for bridal and bridal party preparation. This allows for a beautiful setting for candid photographs to commemorate your day and simplifies your preparation. For your safety and comfort, and to minimize your stress, no more than four people are allowed per room to prepare. If the Groomsmen would like to prepare at the Mansion, the above applies as well. Please note that our bed-and-breakfast check-in and check-out times do apply therefore check in for a suite is a 4:00 pm and check out is at 11:00 am the following morning. Multiple night suite rentals may be required to ensure adequate preparation time.

*Snack Trays are available for purchase and can be delivered to your room during your bridal preparation. Please inform your wedding venue coordinator if you would like to order them.

Bride and Groom Post Ceremony Retreat

Immediately after saying “I do”, be whisked away to a private location set up with a sweetheart table. You and your new husband can take the first 15 minutes to catch your breath, gaze into each other’s eyes and have a quick bite of your reception food before walking into your reception. Simply let your coordinator know that you would like this exclusive service.

Bridesmaid Brunch

As you and your bridesmaids are getting ready for your special day, consider enjoying a simple but elegant lunch provided by our Chef. Have tea in the dining room; enjoy petite sandwiches on the Veranda, or fruit and cheese in the Library just to mention a few options. You decide. Just let your coordinator know you would like this service. We will handle all the details. Lunch prices start at $15 per person.

Deposit Schedule

To guarantee that your date and time block is held for your use, the following deposit schedule is required.

At the time the Oak Crest Mansion Inn Special Event contract is signed

  • A 50% deposit of the total cost of the applicable accommodation and/or site fee is required in order to guarantee and confirm the reservation for the booking of the wedding site.
  • In the absence of this deposit, the reservation is considered only tentative and is therefore not guaranteed.
  • The wedding party signing the Oak Crest Mansion Inn Special Event Contract is responsible for full payment of all accommodations not occupied during the wedding, or for any room not paid in full by the occupant or occupants.

90 Days Prior to the Date of the Event

  • The remaining 50% balance of the deposit for the total cost of the applicable site fee is due and will be required at this time. All weddings at Oak Crest Mansion Inn are booked therefore on a pre-paid basis only.


Direct billing is not available for any wedding charges. Personal checks are accepted but the reservation is not guaranteed and the contract valid until the check has cleared our bank. Please allow five (5) business days for our check to clear. We accept American Express, Visa and Mastercard credit cards for payment. A 3% service charge will be added to any credit card charge over $10,000.

Cancellation Fees

No one wants to have to cancel such a momentous occasion as your wedding. However, we understand that occasionally events intervene that make proceeding with your event impossible. Because Oak Crest Mansion Inn will have held your event date and block of time for you, and assisted in planning our event up until that time, in the event that the wedding or reception is canceled, Oak Crest Mansion Inn will apply a cancellation fee as follows.

Any cancellation from the time of contract signing to six months prior to the event date, a cancellation fee of 50% of the contract amount will be charged. Six months or less, prior to the event date, a cancellation fee of 100% of the contract amount will be charged.
Should a contracted event not be held due to an unavoidable Act of God, Oak Crest Mansion Inn management will work to reschedule the event with the contract signatories at the earliest available opportunity. In this rare instance, regrettably, no refunds will be given.
